MAKING HOMESCHOOL BREEZIER
The homeschool ed-tech industry skyrocketed during COVID as parents searched for solutions to teach their children from home. Learnly arrived on the market just in time to simplify the way parents tracked and documented educational performance to comply with state rules. In preparation for a public launch of the platform, I was brought in to elevate the quality of the brand to prepare the company for acquisition.
The Learnly platform was in its infancy, but quickly adopting users when I started the branding process. My approach was to build a design system that appealed to tech-savvy homeschool Moms who wanted a lot of information at their fingertips but expected a breezy and intuitive mobile-first experience.
The Learnly rebrand and beta launch of the platform made a big splash in the homeschool ed-tech space earning a sizable number of early adopters before the tech was sold to a national competitor.

The icon library was designed to represent key features of the platform and simplify navigation for new and returning users.
The key art for the brand was built around a depiction of the Mother and child, working together as partners in education.
