Packetized Energy was ready for a brand refresh as they entered into their third successful year in operation. With a proven green energy product and prominent utility customers, they were ready to clarify their message and put a new face forward for the company. The approach to the identity was to clarify their complex, cloud-based technology and inject the brand with personality.

The inspiration for the updated brand identity was based on a visualization of the digital packets that Packetized Energy’s software sends to the cloud to help utilities predict energy fluctuations.

The inspiration for the Mello® product packaging and app was the toy-like quality of the product itself and a focus on consumer-friendly simplicity.
